What to Expect
You will meet with a staff member, who will:
- Gather basic health information
- Collect a urine sample to perform a pregnancy test
- Review all of your pregnancy options to include: Abortion, Adoption, and Parenting
- If pregnant, a limited OB ultrasound will be offered to determine location of the pregnancy, gestational age and heartbeat
- Review your health history and risk of STI (sexually transmitted infections)
- Limited STI testing is routinely offered for all clients with a positive pregnancy test unless the client specifically requests not to be tested or testing supplies are not available
- Answer your medical questions
- Review your Patient Resource List to connect you with community support
- Schedule follow up services if necessary
